Front End Designer

Front End Web Designer FireCraft® is an expert multi-channel retailer and wholesaler specializing in essential outdoor grilling equipment. We provide all grillers a fair, fast, and high-quality solution to their grilling needs while exceeding their expectations with world-class professionalism and expertise. Our main campus is located in West Chester, PA. FireCraft has an immediate full-time opportunity for a Front End Web Designer with strong SEO skills. This position is e-commerce web design and SEO centric. A good candidate will show strong skills in both the web design and SEO disciplines. A good candidate will also show strong artistic abilities and the ability to produce aesthetically pleasing designs. Your duties will include, but aren’t limited to, the following:

  • Website layout and user interface design
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Writing and editing content
  • Determining technical requirements
  • Writing HTML, CSS and JS
  • Updating websites
  • Creating backup files
  • Solving code problems

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong working knowledge of latest e-commerce web design technologies and trends
  • Strong working knowledge of design fundamentals, layout, typography and information design
  • Strong working knowledge of SEO best practices and techniques
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JS
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
  • Ability to create and manage an email marketing campaign
  • Ability to write compelling marketing copy
  • Ability to design layouts with strong call-to-action and good usability
  • Ability to apply user interface design best practices to web layouts
  • Must be flexible in job duties and willing to take on additional responsibilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • BA or BS degree in web design
  • 3-5 years of related work experience
